The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki is a healing modality based from ancient symbols that Jesus and Siddartha Gautama (Buddha) used in their healing. During her attunement ceremonies, her teacher saw 5,000 years of healing ancestry in Aymee's lineage. Reiki is making a comeback as more mainstream, due to its effectiveness of curing ailments and disease. It is even being used in Western hospitals during surgeries, intensive care units, and oncology wards.
